I had one of those disconnect moments again. Iapos;m driving in the minivan to go pick up the kids from the sitter. Iapos;m flipping through the stations and I get the hard rock station and itapos;s playing Lightening Crashes by Live. (several other songs from my late/post high school life follow) I stop flipping and turn it up. So here I am driving and singing along with the music when again I realize

It definitely does not fit my image of what a mom in a minivan is suppose to do. But then again if it wasnapos;t for the kids yelling in the background half the time Iapos;d still feel 25 with no kids.

Itapos;s so weird. Here I am with my peers forging new paths that are different from what our parents did. There were no minivans when I was small. And I doubt my mom would have been caught dead with the radio cranked all the way up. This has happened to me before, this time it didnapos;t hit as strongly as it has in the past. I guess Iapos;m getting use to it.
